Our SMS Notice feature allows you to automatically receive an SMS text when someone checks in. We wouldn't recommend setting this up for all attendees, but it can be helpful for your event staff to be notified of VIP or speaker arrival and check-in.
To set up the SMS text feature, simply go to the Attendees screen and find the attendee you want to be notified about (use the Search box to live-filter long attendee lists). Then click the "Off" SMS notice icon next to that attendee's name and add the mobile phone number that you'd like to receive the text notification. Click Save. The SMS notice for that attendee will now show as "On". You can edit or delete the mobile phone number from that attendee's record at any time by clicking the "On" icon.
When your attendee is marked as Checked In through our system, the mobile number you added will receive a text with the time and date stamp of the check-in**.
